Our commitment
As a business enterprise and employer in the Berlin/Brandenburg capital region, we are committed to the region around our headquarters in Königs Wusterhausen. We are therefore happy to support campaigns, projects and foundations that contribute to positive development. In addition, we also support the special athletic achievements and goals of two capital city athletes.

Women's shelter
Every year during the Christmas season, we support the women's shelter in our district and hand over vouchers for a toy store so that the women can fulfill their children's wish lists. Women and children find themselves in a difficult living situation, often having fled domestic violence. We are happy if we can put a smile on the children's faces on Christmas Eve. Family alliances
The alliance was founded with the objective of creating framework conditions to enable parents to combine family and career and to create a family-friendly city. Regional companies, social associations, institutions for children and youth work are jointly involved. Among other things, projects are implemented to improve employment for young people, events are organized for young and old, and volunteers are recruited for reading mentorships. Community Foundation
Maintaining the town of Königs Wusterhausen as an attractive location for all citizens of all ages in the long term and contributing to its positive development are the initiative's guiding goals. Regional potentials will be used in the future to implement social projects together. Civic commitment plays a decisive role alongside financial support. The foundation addresses the following topics, among others: Art, culture, sports, education and training as well as preservation of local history and nature conservation. Conrad Scheibner
Passion, fairness, fighting spirit - these are the qualities that closely connect us with the sport. GEMTEC is sponsor of the Berlin canoeist Conrad Scheibner. With him, double world champion 2021 in canoe racing in the discipline Canadier, we have found a partner who carries the common values into the world. Conrad Scheibner has been a member of the national team since 2017. He participates annually in World and European Championships, as well as other international competitions such as the Olympic Games in 2021. Tri-Finisher Berlin e.V.
GEMTEC is a sponsor of the triathlon club Tri-Finisher Berlin e.V. The club offers training opportunities in the triathlon disciplines of swimming, cycling and running to ambitious endurance athletes of different performance levels. For many years, athletes from the club have been successfully represented at regional to international competitions. Tri-finisher Sebastian Blecke took part in the IRONMAN in the Estonian capital Tallinn on August 7, 2021 and achieved his second Hawaii qualification after 2015 with 4th place in AK45. He will not exercise his starting right until the World Championships in Kona, Hawaii in 2023.
