Threads and counterboring
Threading and counterboring are forming operations within metalworking, where the change of shape is achieved by hand or by machine. We offer various thread cutting and thread forming operations - from single pieces to series production. Our equipment and tools process aluminum, steel, stainless steel and non-ferrous metals (copper and brass).
Depending on the material properties and the desired shape and depth, threads are produced in manual and mechanical processes according to ISO standards or dimensions. In addition or as a single thread, a counterbore can also be included. This allows screws to be screwed in completely.
Thread sizes: Our systems can form threads from M3 to M6. Threads up to a size of M24 are also possible using the manual process.
Maximum material thicknesses: 30mm
